Client: Barossa Bush
Project Type: Public, Council & Federal
Location: Nuriootpa, South Australia
Project Summary:
The Barossa Bush Gardeners Hub is a cold-form structural building that allows spaces for point of sales, offices, training rooms and volunteer areas.
The centre’s building involved the BGi Building group project managing contractors and volunteers to ensure the project was completed within time and to a fixed budget.
Careful consideration was given to the location and orientation of the building to maximise natural air ventilation and solar panel location. The Bushgarden Centre is now used as a local volunteer hub where students alike come to learn and propagate plants native to the area. It is also used commercially as a point of sale for those wanting to purchase native plants.
