Project Summary:

Located on the Main Street of Tanunda, the Barossa Cycle Hub forms part of the primary Barossa Valley Tourism information prescient.

This project required careful consideration of access to public toilet facilities along with high pedestrian traffic flows for the duration of the build. The lightweight structural steel and featured block construction have helped this building blend in with adjacent heritage structures whilst providing modern and open-aired facilities.

Adjoining buildings have also been redeveloped for hire facilities and allow for open-air events adjacent to the main street of Tanunda.

BGi Building was engaged as the principal builder of the facility and collaborated with clients to ensure the building was functional and priced to fit with the limited budget provided to the Council through a federal grant.
