Project Summary:

BGi Building Group was engaged to design new spaces that incorporated existing buildings and set areas to house the Cellar Door and Winery Administration.

The work involved joining new facilities to old buildings to ensure the old and new were combined in to open, usable & flexible spaces.

With the cellar door facilities recycled timbers from an old local flour mill were used in association with ironstone internal and external walls. A new outside seating area was created using the recycled timbers and old red bricks.

The Administration hub involved the redevelopment of an existing old house along with the extension to the existing old homestead. Internal stone walls were removed and large bi-folding timber windows were installed to create a large board room which doubles as a training facility. The new sections of the works is open plan to allow for flexibility of work station location and maximises the space required to house all staff.
